Gettin ur skin to behave!

So i've tried about every single product on the pharmacy and supermarket and now im left with a drawer full of an endless array of cleasers, washes, toners, acne meds..etc. etc.
The bottomline is..keep it simple, not only to prevent damaging your skin, but its less hectic and time consuming!
So here is what works for me:
1- Cleanse: Now this is an important step. Mild foams kinda work me but  end up leavin my skin shiny/ oily so i opt for a good solid bar of coconut oil based soap, something with a natural ingredient like honey or even better, retinoic acid, its amazing, its all you'll ever need. A good brand of retinoic acid soap is  Retinoic 2000 (philipines) and My Own. (I cant understand why the cosmetic industry isnt manufacturing more of this soap?? its the only thing that works for me and sometimes its unavailable in my country!) . Another important ingredient to look for to gain effective oil/acne/blackhead control, is salicylic acid. What it does is that it dissolves oils and sebum in your pores to unclog them. You should aim for 0.5 to 2%. Good brands include Clean and Clear, Dermadoctor, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Biore..just to name a few..
The process: i know its more than obvious but its worth mentioning for the few who dont know.. use warm water and foam you cleanser gently on ur face massaging it. If it  contains any natural ingredient/medications, allow to stay on for 2-3 mins then rise of with cold water. Simple but makes all the difference.
2- Tone: the funny part is that u may do without a toner. I use an ice cube. Works wonders..tightens pores and calms the skin. If you do prefer a toner, look for salicylic acid plus aloe vera, chamomile, witch hazel, panthenol (vitamin B5) and apply it after applying the ice cube.
3- Treat: Morning & Evening :Alpha hydroxy acid. I use 12% glycolic acid very small amount gently applied.
For spots or uneven tone, add a lotion with a Natural whitening ingredients  like licorice, mulberry leaf extract, vit C, alpha arbutin, glutathione, kojic acid, vitamin B3. Brands include: Ponds, Olay, Loreal, Diana stadler (but honestly i havent tried this brand)

Every 2-3 days a clay mask after cleansing, before ice and treatment.
Brands depends on what your skin prefers.. Even homemade masks are as effective if not better. (I will post some great mask recipes soon.)
Thats all you need plus a balanced diet. (I will post some stuff about this too :) )
